Unwanted Pregnancy! Who’s fault is it? 🤔
The man’s, the woman’s or the system’s
Recently a lady came online and called out her baby daddy. Apparently, they have been in a relationship since 2019 and in 2022 or so. The guy started processing his study visa to the UK and along the line the girl got pregnant..
In her write up, she stated that the guy told her to abort the pregnancy cause
he is about to travel and is not ready to father a child at the moment.
Unfortunately for her, abortion isn’t an option. She was carrying twins and could lose her life according to her doctor.
She said the guy stopped picking her calls from 2022 till now, stopped responding to her messages and never cared about her or the beautiful children she had for him.
So let’s discuss right now
- Some people online said “why did she not get pregnant in 2019 when they started, upon seeing that the guy wants to travel. She decided to tie the man down with pregnancy"
- Someone also said “why would the guy have an unprotected sex when he knew he was not ready to be a father?"
- Another person argued “that pregnancy is the responsibility of a woman, that she’s married and insisted on having two kids and she’s making sure to keep to that"
Well, a lot of points have been made and all of them are valid to me.
The lady stated that she has realized her mistake and she’s not calling him out for marriage but for him to take care of his kids. In her words “the kids shouldn’t suffer because of our mistakes" and I agree with her on this.
To me pregnancy is something I don’t play with and I have always been careful not to give birth to a child when I’m not ready or when the man isn’t ready.
I feel like some people are so selfish that they think giving birth is about them. To me it’s about the kids.
I always tell myself this — that I owe my kids the best dad and I will be the best mom.
These days some people want to birth for birthing sake and go about not caring for the kids, some of these kids turn to be a nuisance and headache to society.
